Lady Greynicorn: rainbow microstripe sparkle sock yarn

For the month of June 20% of all sales of this yarn will be split between AKT, who help homeless LGBTQ+ youth, and MindOut, who assist LGBTQ+ people with mental health care. 

This hand dyed yarn was inspired by the amazingly fun show Adventure Time, and the character Lady Rainicorn, the awesome Korean unicorn with impossible prism and stretching powers.  Dyed with a “micro-stripe” rainbow technique. • 75% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon, 5% sparkle
• 400m/437 yards in length (4-ply) 225m in length (DK) 100m (chunky)
• 100g skein

Each skein is 100g of SPARKLY SOCK YARN! That’s right, sock yarn that sparkles! The fibre composition is 75% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon (for sock strength), and 5% stellina (that’s the sparkle!). When making socks, you need 20 – 25% nylon for strength and stretch, or your socks might wear out too early. This yarn isn’t just for socks, though: it can be used for any 4-ply or fingering weight pattern.
