Description
Hostile architecture is things like bars on benches and spikes in doorways, meant to make it difficult for rough sleepers. Hostile architecture is not only anti-homeless and anti-poor, it’s also ableist and fatphobic! 20% of profits go to support Shelter UK, who are fighting bad housing and homelessness. Click here to donate directly if you’d rather to that than buy yarn! This new double stranded sock blank has been dyed with speckles on a light grey base and will knit up to create almost exact matching socks!
- 75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon
- 400m/437 yards in length, split
- 100g blank
When making socks, you need 20 – 25% nylon for strength and stretch, or your socks might wear out too early. This yarn isn’t just for socks, though: it can be used for any 4-ply or fingering weight pattern.
